Lori Ann Eldridge

overview

  • I am public health implementation scientist. My research is designed to bridge the gap between research and practice by the translation of empirical evidence into evidence-based curriculums, interventions, and the establishment of policy change. I examine access to harm reduction within rural communities. Additionally, I explore access to prevention, treatment, and harm reduction services for individuals with comorbid diagnoses of mental health, physical and intellectual disabilities, and substance use disorders. I focus on how the impact of laws, policies, regulations, access to services, and healthcare delivery affect access to services.
