• Jihoun An, Ph.D., is associate professor and director of developmental motor lab in the Department of Kinesiology. Her research centers around two key areas: (a) student learning in higher education and (b) adapted/inclusive physical education practices for students with and without disabilities. Her work primarily explores student learning related to disability, inclusion, and adapted physical education practices by integrating service-learning models into Kinesiology coursework. Furthermore, she examines community-engaged projects that evaluate adapted and inclusive physical education practices, as well as the experiences of parents of children with disabilities participating in adapted or inclusive physical education and physical activity programs.
