Sport is a fundamental right for all. This exchange will bring together U.S. and Panama individuals committed to building relationships and promoting this right. Specifically, 12 Panamanian and 12 U.S. athletes with ID and without aged 18-25, coaches, community leaders, and emerging sport leaders will take part in a two-way exchange program aimed at advancing sport for individuals with intellectual disabilities and promoting cross-cultural relations. The programming will emphasize the strategic management and planning of inclusive sport experiences (soccer & basketball) that will build an inclusive community and positively impact community health and well-being.
