Kathy D. Lohr holds a doctorate in Adult and Community College Education from North Carolina State University. Her research focus has been on the learning needs of adults arising from developmental demands. Using technology to support resilient aging drives her current work. She teaches in the adult education program at East Carolina university, a program that grants several graduate certificates and a master's in adult education. Her areas of expertise are the adult learner, instructional strategies, and educational gerontology.
