  • Journal of New Librarianship Journal of New Librarianshipwas established in 2016 as an independent open access LIS journal that provides an outlet for emerging and interdisciplinary scholarship that does not fit within the narrowly defined subject specialization of existing journals. JoNL is a Diamond open access publication in which authors retain full copyright of their work through CC-BY licensing. There are no processing fees, nor is there a cost to access published materials. Since its launch, JoNL has published 5 volumes (9 issues total), and is recognized in the Ulrich Periodical Index as a peer-reviewed academic journal.
