  Served as invited speaker at the Morning Rotary Club meeting, presenting on the work of the Rural Education Institute and educational needs in Beaufort County. Discussed efforts to secure external funding to support educational initiatives in Aurora and Beaufort County Schools, including teacher professional development and implementation of the Character Strong program. Highlighted challenges facing rural students and schools and shared strategies for strengthening educational opportunities and community partnerships.   2025
