  • The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is continuing an annual effort, contingent upon funding, to evaluate spatiotemporal impacts on beach sediment character and habitats associated with beach nourishment at Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge (NWR; Refuge). Researchers at East Carolina University (ECU) will provide the expertise needed to perform the field surveys and provide feedback and analysis.
