  • Application to spend the spring 2022 semester in residence at the Getty Villa, working on a manuscript forTranslating for the Gods: Phoenician Sacred Space between Greece and Persia.This new project aims to explore Phoenician religious practice and belief through investigation of the 20 excavated temples, shrines, and other religious spaces from northern coastal Israel, Lebanon, and Syria known from the first millennium BCE.
