  • Co-organized and recruited for a new Member-Organized Conference Session: "History and Archaeology of the Phoenician World" at the ASOR Annual Meeting With Jessica Nitschke (Stellenbosch University), I proposed a new session which was accepted for recruitment at the 2024 ASOR Annual Meeting in Boston (November 2024).
    Our session abstract: "The past two decades have been a boon time for Phoenician studies, with numerous monographs, articles, and colloquia shining a light on the central role Phoenicians played in ancient Mediterranean culture, economy, and politics. This session serves as a space to present research on any aspect of the history and culture of the Phoenician/Punic world, broadly conceived: from the Levant to the Atlantic, from the Bronze Age through the Roman Empire and beyond (including the reception of Phoenicians in modern times). Papers that deal with religious, economic, and political interactions are particularly welcome." 2023 - 2024

  • Online lecture series on "Levantine Phoenician Women" Along with Dr. Aaron Brody, I co-organized an online lecture series with monthly speakers on the topic of "Levantine Phoenician Women." This involves planning, recruitment, organization, communication with speakers, and eventual planning of an edited volume on the topic. 2022 - 2023

  • Letter for tenure dossier I was invited to write an anoymous letter of tenure support for a colleague in my field in March 2020. I was contacted in April to say the candidate had delayed her tenure review to the 2020-2021 academic year because of the COVID19 pandemic. An updated letter was solicited anew in March 2021. 2020

  • Symposium to develop a Kress grant to pilot funneling private antiquities collections into university museums Invited participants met at Princeton University Sept. 13-15, 2019 to discuss the Kress-seeded grant proposal "Private Antiquities Collections to University Museums: A Proposal" authored by Elizabeth Marlowe (Associate Professor of Art & Art History, Colgate University) and ;Leila Amineddoleh (Founder and Managing Partner of Amineddoleh & Associates, LLP, specializing in art, cultural heritage, and intellectual property law). Participants came from universities and museums, along with representatives of the AIA and ASOR archaeology professional organizations. 2019
