Collaborative Research: Implementation Grant: Leading Inclusive Transformation in Geoscience via a Culturally Diverse and Community Engaged Network of Learning Ecosystems

We propose to create a long-lasting, multi-institution Network of interconnected Hispanic/Latino/e, African American, and first-generation college-serving universities, a community partner organization, and local governments, NGOs, museums, and frontier research organizations and universities. Jointly, we will provide access and training to transformative, intercultural, decolonizing, community-based societal relevant research, teaching, and leadership via cutting-edge technology within geoscience learning ecosystems. These partnerships will build on and leverage existing academic and community collaborations made possible through NSF REU, CoPe, NRT, and Geopaths grants.
