The proposed project will address the digital divide experienced by foreign-born populations, particularly refugees/asylees and other immigrants living in North Carolina (NC). This work will be directed by a Refugee and Immigrant Digital Equity Collaborative that includes five refugee and immigrant serving community partners and researchers at East Carolina University (ECU). The Collaborative will provide access to digital technology and tailor and disseminate digital literacy and skills training to new arrivals and established communities of foreign-born populations in NC that receive critical services to facilitate their transition to life in the U.S.
