Collaborative Research: IUSE: EHR: A Student-Centered Personalized Learning Framework to Advance Undergraduate Robotics Education Supplement Grant uri icon

abstract

  • The goal of this supplement is to develop user manuals including how to use the personalized learning framework as well as commonly asked questions and answers for the robotics course content proposed by us. The undergraduate research assistants will conduct a user study to collect feedback and questions from the University of Nevada, Reno students and instructors as well as prepare solutions under the guidance of Dr. Rui Wu (PI of the proposal).
  • This is a request for an REU Supplement to an existing NSF award (#2142428). Two undergraduate students will be hired to study if our proposed student-centered personalized learning pedagogy can be applied to oculomotor exam training and environmental protection. The pedagogy is originally designed for robotics undergraduate education. These two students will redesign course content based on our proposed personalized learning platform suggested in the larger project and conduct user studies to identify possible issues when undergraduate students learn the knowledge of oculomotor exam training and environmental protection using our proposed pedagogy.
