abstract

  • QIC-AG is a federally funded project to promote permanency for foster youth for whom reunification is no longer a goal, and to improve adoption and guardianship preservation and support services. Intervention projects at eight selected sites around the U.S. (including states, counties, and tribes) will be developed or adapted and evaluated based on the assumption that an effective continuum of services is needed to support families from the time children enter the child welfare system until well after legal adoption or guardianship. Specific intervention goals may include increasing placement stability for families, reducing child behavior problems, and improving the well-being of children and families. QIC-AG is a service of the Children?s Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, USDHHS that was awarded to Spaulding for Children in partnership with The University of Texas at Austin, The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
