Dr. Geraldeli is a graduate of the University of Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil, where he received his DDS degree in 1987. As a DDS student, Dr. Geraldeli served as class president and held positions in internal academic committees (treasure, student affairs, etc.). In 1985 he became student member of the Sao Paulo Dental Association. He also served as TA in the disciplines of Dental Anatomy, Histology and Physiology. Dr. Geraldeli served as Treasurer (1988-1990), President (1996-1998) and Vice-president (1998-2000) for the Sao Paulo Dental Association, chapter of Mogi das Cruzes.After two years in private practice, he started a master's program in Dental Biomaterials at University of Sao Paulo, followed by a PhD program in the same School that ended in 1996. During this time, he also obtained his Certificate in Periodontics from the Sao Paulo Dental Association. Along with his private practice, Dr. Geraldeli became a part time faculty at University of Mogi das Cruzes and Santo Amaro University, both in Sao Paulo, Brazil. From 2000 to 2002 Dr. Geraldeli went to University of Minnesota as a visiting professor and participated in clinical and laboratorial research projects as well as teaching to DMD students.In 2003 he became a full-time professor in the Operative Master program at Guarulhos University, Sao Paulo. In 2006 he became a full-time Assistant Professor at University of Iowa, College of Dentistry, Department of Operative Dentistry. While in that position, he served as treasurer for the IADR Iowa Chapter. Then he became a Clinical Associate Professor at University of Florida in 2010. In these institutions, he has acted as director/co-director in pre-clinical and graduate courses, provided dental care in faculty practice, researched in adhesive dental biomaterials, and taught preventive, dental biomaterials and biomimetic dentistry to DMD students.In 2019 Dr. Geraldeli became division director of Biomedical Materials at East Carolina University, School of Dental Medicine, Department of General Dentistry.He is a member of many dental associations including the International Association for Dental Research, Academy of Operative Dentistry, Academy of Dental Materials and Academy of Biomimetics. In 2009 he received the Junior Faculty Award while a faculty at University of Iowa and he has lectured nationally and internationally. Recently, Dr. Geraldeli has served as Symposium Organizer for the IADR Cariology Group and became a member of Xi Omicron Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
AADOCR Constitution Committee
The Constitution Committee meets on an ad-hoc basis, as requested by the Board of Directors, to review proposed changes to the AADOCR Constitution & Bylaws. Meetings are not scheduled regularly but are arranged as needed for timely deliberation and decision-making. 2023 - 2025

Councilor (2021-2024) Represent SG/N at IADR Council Meeting The primary responsibility of the Councilor is to attend the IADR Council meeting and vote in a manner that is representative of the SG/N policies. Report to SG/N events arising from Council After the Council meeting the Councilor should report either via email or at the annual business meeting the issues arising from the Council. Science policy liaison The Councilor will also act as a liaison between the GHQ and the SG/N on any science policy issues. The Councilor will work with the SG/N experts to provide feedback on any questions posed. Oversight of SG/N budget 2020 - 2023
