- Jeff Popke is a human geographer with interests at the intersections of coastal and island dynamics, environmental change, and livelihood practices.Using both qualitative and mixed-methods research designs, he has most recently examined the impacts of climate change on smallholder agriculture and the role of renewable energy transitions in promoting island resilience in Jamaica and the Eastern Caribbean.
