Rewriting Text book for adoption
I worked with 2 authors 3 publishers and an expert in Quantum computing to help re-write 4 chaptes in a textbook so that it would better suit the needs of our students and ECU. The book published and we used it starting Fall 23 but still a work in progress as we work towards revisions to use for Fall 24. I created a book cover that is unique to ECU including the MIS Department and ECU Logos to have it stand out on the shelves of the bookstores. Also negotiated a price drop from $120 Students were paying with Cengage to only $87 with McGraw Hill. Followed up and corrected the bookstore when they initially got pricing wrong. Also working with original content so that we can get royalties for the department for each book sold (will start in Fall 24) 2022
Vineyards HOA board or directors
Presided over the board ensuring community standards, budgeting, and laws were maintained. 2016 - 2022
President of Spring forest Condominium Association
Oversaw the buyout of building owners that had their units burn down. This required multiple meetings with lawyers, property managers, and Insurance agents to get the needed votes and/or items done to save the community association from possible bankruptcy or heavy assessments. Spring Forest Association.President of the board and oversaw all aspects of the association including managment of the property. Using my expertise to help guide them thru the legal, financial, and operations of the association. 2017 - 2020
