  • Mississippi State University Chapter of Council for Exceptional Children As the faculty advisor I supervised all chapter activities, developed and organized the MSU TEAM (Transition-based Education and Advocacy in Mississippi) Fair, and escorted students to the state CEC Conference where they served as conference volunteers and presented. 2013 - 2017

  • Camp Jigsaw Counselor I volunteered at a week long camp for young adolescent males on the spectrum. The camp focuses on teaching social skills and recreation/leisure skills. 2016
  • Review Board Since 2017, I have served on the review board forRural Special Education Quarterly. As a board member, I review at least five manuscripts a year as well as their revisions as they progress through the publication process. 2016
  • Council for Exceptional Children Conference I reviewed conference proposals for the Teachers Education Division of the Council for Exceptional Children 2017 annual conference. 2016
  • TEAM (Transition-based Education and Advocacy in Mississippi) Fair I developed, supervised, and secured funding to implement that state's only free transition fair for students with disabilities, their care givers, and agencies across the state of Mississippi. Over 150 students and families attended two fairs in April 2015 and 2016. 2014 - 2015
