Chip Galusha

  • Chip Galusha teaches in the Leadership &; Professional program in the College of Business at ECU. He focuses on leadership and helping students see businesses as connected enterprises and how the students can contribute to their company's survival in a competitive world.Prior to joining the faculty at ECU Chip Galusha spent 20 years in all aspects of IT Asset Management. He began by establishing the IT Asset Management function for BB&;T and moved on to consult for companies around the globe. In the consulting role, Chip has worked in both pre- and post-sales roles with Fortune 100 companies helping them to better manage all aspects of large IT installations.As a logical next step, he moved from consulting to education and was the Principal Instructor for Asset Management and then Employee Education Manager and Instructor Readiness Program Director for CA Technologies.Education:BA in Computer Science and Broadcasting from Westminster College (PA)MBA from East Carolina University.

  • FCAC I was elected to serve on the Farmville Community Arts Council board of directors and to be the treasurer of the organization. 2020 - 2023
  • professional services One of the potential outcomes of adding a game to the class for this semester is the possibility of turning it into a team building workshop for departmental and/or outside organization purposes.
    Provided the workshop for the newly reorganized Arthur Graduate School. 2022
  • BNI I am a launch coach / chapter consultant for Business Networking International (BNI). We work with business people to help them form strong referral/realtionship maketing chapters throughout the eastern part of the state.This work invovles coaching and mentoring 20-30 people at a time in team building, networking, target markets, etc.In the past 12 months (as of March), the Greenville chapter has created $255,521 in business. 2021
  • One more Customer events One More Customer is an educational/networking event designed to help and support small businesses. I brought the program to Greenville and host monthly sessions. 2019 - 2020
  • Hertford County Worked with a team to provide Hertford County with workshops around their core values. 2018
