• Jonathan Reid   Summer 2023: further critical feedback in reaction to review of Stage 3 DH NEH grant that was not funded Spring 2023.2022-2023: I reviewed and gave critical feedback on Prof. Herron's draft for a Stage 3 DH grant from NEH building on his successfully won and completed stage 2 NEH grant. Submitted January 2023.I serve on his board of advisors. Prof. Herron was awarded the $100,000+ grant in July 2020. In 2021-22 UI have advised him on working towards submission of a final (next) Stage III grand to the NEH to further develop deliverable, extensible digital humanities projects. To that end, we are hosing one of his co-PI's, Vicki McAlister, March 23, on campus at ECU to give an demonstration of her public-facing scholarship as a public historian using Virtual Realithy to engage studends and popular audiences.   2019 - 2022
