• Erin Prophet   I have served on the steering committee for the New Religious Movements section of the American Academy of Religion since 2021. This job requires me to attend annual meetings, including a business meeting, to review paper proposals, and to assist in drafting our annual call for papers. I assist in guiding the direction of presentations, panels and special events for this subfield in the study of religion.   2020
