• Jamie Williams   Provided the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) with an overview of the 2026-2027 Youth Engagement Community of Practice, in which Pitt County Schools will participate. The initiative is designed to strengthen meaningful student engagement in school health efforts by helping SHACs move beyond student participation toward authentic student influence. Participating teams will use the SHAC Student Influence Tool: A Framework for Moving from Student Participation to Influence to incorporate student voice into an identified school health priority while learning alongside other SHAC teams and receiving implementation support throughout the year.   2026
