• Laureen Tedesco   The executive committee of the International Children's Literature Association nominated me to serve a three-year term on the Article Awards Committee that reads and evaluates articles on children's literature published in scholarly journals in the field (and in literature, education, or library science more broadly) in a one-year period.
  ChLA members will elect the committee members from among those nominated (I've submitted my biographical statement for the ballot), and I am awaiting election results.
  I let my decades-long membership in this professional organization lapse after COVID (after I finished a term as a committee chair in 2022) and am returning to the conferences and active involvement this year.   2025
