Led by ECU with participation of NCSU and NC A&T, this project will build expanded 2+2 programs in engineering and technology. In technology, articulation agreements will focus on integration with the programs of the community colleges in areas related to the aerospace workforce. In engineering, the efforts will focus on development of course modules for freshman and sophomore courses which can be used to enhance a full 2+2 program which increases the pipeline of engineering students from the eastern region. A primary target will be development of programs at Wayne and College of the Albemarle. This proposal will also identify HS programs which can enhance awareness of these AAS - BS IT and AS to BS in Engineering completion programs.
