The increasing number of surface water intake projects across the Chesapeake Bay watershed raises significant concerns about their cumulative impacts on migratory finfish species, aquatic fauna, and water quality. VIMS is conducting a modeling study and seeks targeted modeling technique support from ECU to efficiently ?kick-start? the particle-tracking component of the work and to strengthen the reproducibility and transferability of the modeling workflow across multiple scenarios and future updates.
