The Molecular Transducers of Physical Activity and Exercise Consortium (MoTrPAC) was a large NIH-sponsored project aimed at determining the underlying cellular mechanisms of why exercise is effective in improving human health. The clinical aspects of the project are completed and funding is now being provided to support effort for analyzing/interpreting the data and writing scientific papers for publication. The purpose of this grant is to support effort for Joseph A Houmard, to participate in the conceptualization and writing of scientific papers.
