Service members assigned to perform open-source investigations are trained to efficiently collect information from the internet. Currently, there is no direct means for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other branches to train personnel on internet investigative best practices without undergoing legal review or leaving digital traces. To tackle this issue, the aim of this seed proposal is to assess the viability of a sandboxed internet training platform and identify any technological constraints that may hinder its implementation.
