The NC Coastal Atlas is pleased to provide services, data, and map information in support of NC LOW and its goals of enhancing and sustaining the quality of life, economic vitality, and environmental integrity of eastern North Carolina. Established in 2013 as a partnership led by East Carolina University (ECU) and currently hosted by the ECU Center for Geographic Information Science (GISci), the NC Coastal Atlas has parallel aims to expand awareness and access to geographic information in eastern North Carolina, particularly its cultural heritage and natural resources. Inventorying and mapping the assets of eastern NC will enhance NC LOW and its partners? goals of sustaining the natural resource base and promoting regional economic development. Providing this service to NC LOW will also augment the collaborations that the Atlas established with universities, state, and federal agencies and other NGOs. This Scope of Work (SOW) details the activities, liaison, and products the Atlas will provide LOW for from April 1 2015 to June 30 2016.
