  • Accelerate Rural is a structured, cohort-based entrepreneurship accelerator serving rural founders across 29 counties in Eastern NC (with primary Mid-East Commission funding targeting 5 counties: Pitt, Beaufort, Hyde, Martin, + 1 additional). The program guides participants from concept through validated business model in 16 weeks, blending hybrid online instruction with in-person challenge labs and hackathon events. AI tools are woven throughout as a cross-cutting theme.
