Southeast Regional Coalition for University-Assisted Community Schools 2024-2025

Provide a short description of the project (maximum 200 words) that is suitable for a lay audience. ECU REI will collaborate with the Southeast Regional Coalition for University-Assisted Community Schools (SRCUACS) partners to strengthen existing University-Assisted Community School (UACS) sites, build an organizational structure that supports regional collaboration on UACS development, expand the number of UACS sites in NC, and form partnerships with UACS sites and support organizations in other states. Tasks that will support this work include providing training for current UACS sites: co-developing (with SRCUACS partners) a regional organizational structure to provide training and technical assistance to UACS sites throughout the southeast; recruiting new sites and organizational partners within NC and in other southeast states; conducting research on current UACS sites and the SRCUACS development process; and disseminating research to varied audiences via varied platforms.
