abstract

  • The Research in Aid will support MS student in geological sciences, Jason Yonts, to test the hypothesis that the major and trace element composition of gahnite will reflect magma evolution in granitic pegmatites at the single crystal scale, pegmatite scale, and pegmatite province scale and that gahnite in Li-rich and Li-poor pegmatites will have different compositions that can be used as exploration guides to ore.
