I will be going to the Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians this summer. The travel dates are 7/27-8/2. The institute takes place over 7/27-8/1. I am requesting external funding to come from the State Library of NC via funding from IMLS to be remitted directly to my library as a travel award. This would fund my participation in this institute where I will be able to take part in learning and engaging with a cohort of fellow library leaders strategies for leadership and management in an academic library. No financial awards as a result of this award application will be remitted directly to me.
