To establish the WLA as a leader and central repository for research, education, and helpful materials on the Emerging Adult (18-24) population as it relates to gambling. Emerging Adults are becoming a fast-growing entry into the help-seeking, treatment and recovery community and possess unique factors that make traditional outreach and treatment less effective. Bringing awareness to this unique population is timely with the increase in accessibility to both legal and illegal gaming, sports betting, and lottery.
