- To support the special feature sections of our four 2026 issues: Saluting North Carolina Military Writers. To honor the population of over 750,000 active duty and veterans, NCLR will amplify military and veteran voices through publication of their creative writing, of reviews of books by veterans and military personnel, and of articles on and interviews with veteran/military writers.
