Children with cerebral palsy (CP) often have difficulty with walking. This research aims to improve walking and mobility of children with CP using a new interventions called remote limb ischemic conditioning (RLIC). RLIC is a technique where blood flow is temporarily restricted by placing a blood pressure cuff on the arm or thigh. It has been demonstrated that temporarily occluding the blood flow releases helpful blood markers that helps in enhancing muscle and brain function. Therefore, we will combine RLIC with muscle strength, balance, and walking training in these children and assess it's effects on improving muscle performance and walking in children with CP.
