Patient adjustment of cardiac heart disease has not been fully studied in patients who receive implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) and pacemakers. The purpose of the current study is to examine differences in individuals who received ICD or pacemakers and how it impacts their outcomes as measured by Florida Patient Acceptance Survey (FPAS), Florida Patient Acceptance Survey (FPAS), and a novel measure termed, Cardiac Health Security (CHS). CHS factor structure will be examined information will be collected on reliability as well as convergent validity with the FSAS and FPAS.
