abstract

  • The goals of the Center for Research, Health, and Social Justice are to 1) advance the science of health disparities by using multidisciplinary, multilevel, and social structural approaches, 2) facilitate research and training opportunities that strengthen the capacity of researchers and community members to develop interventions that aim to reduce chronic disease disparities using a social justice lens; and 3) support equitable academic-community partnerships that address the ideological underpinnings of chronic disease disparities and promote sustainable solutions in Arkansas.
