Teaching North Carolina Literature

Overview

A core mission of the North Carolina Literary Review is to preserve and promote the state's rich literary history. We propose a special call for submissions for pedagogical content on teaching North Carolina literature: essays, unit lesson plans, syllabi, specific assignments, digital projects--we are open to a broad variety of submission formats. The call for submissions will be directed to K-12 educators (via Carolina K-12 and the NC English Teachers' Association [NCTE]) and to instructors who teach in community college, college, and university departments of English (via a compiled list of chairs of departments and through the Society for the Study of Southern Literature [SSSL]).
