The Eastern North Carolina Literary Homecoming is an annual series of events that celebrate the culture and literature of North Carolina. With activities in 5 counties the program provides a rich opportunity for people of the area to learn about and meet North Carolina artists. The theme for the 2012 program is "Litflix:Adapting North Carolina Literature into Film". Artists whose literary works have been adapted into film will explore how film can both enchance and distract from the original work. In addition to the main event that will be held at Joyner LIbrary, 5 additional events will be held throughtout the year in a 5 county area. This will include film festivals of student short films, book disucssions and writing workshops.
