Camp Corral (CC) is a nonprofit organization that provides free summer camp experiences for children of military service members who are injured, ill, or fallen. Each year over 3,000 children attend CC camps and CC undertakes an evaluation of those experiences. Due to COVID-19, the summer 2020 camp season was canceled. Thus, in the summer of 2020 CC conducted a retrospective evaluative survey of parents about their children's 2019 camp experience. In addition, CC conducted four focus groups (2 with adults and 2 with past campers) asking those involved to evaluate the CC camp program. It is anticipated that the collected information will be utilized to further the goals and aims of CC. This contract is to hire Dr. Deb Jordan to analyze the surveys and focus group responses to facilitate the continued growth and development of future CC programs.
