  • Little is known regarding the dynamics of the physical and chemical properties of stormwater at it percolates through the filters during storm events. Properties such as dissolved oxygen concentration, oxidation reduction potential, pH, and temperature influence nutrient transformations and treatment. More information is needed regarding how these parameters change in TBFs in response to wetting and drying cycles during and after storms.
