Eastern NC Regional Freight Mobility Plan Advisory Committee Member
This is a large scale project that aims to study the region's multi-modal freight infrastructure to streamline development in the region. This study will develop strategies to devlop a intelligent and efficient freight network to ptomate a greater economic competitiveness with other metro regions in not only in NC but also the East Coast. In this role, my duties include assisting with the Freight Study to streamline development of the multimodal freight network in Eastern NC. The academy is a smaller learning community within our comprehensive high school. Eastern NC Regional Freight Mobility Plan Advisory Committee Kickoff Meeting
Attended the Kickoff meeting for this project. It was held at the Global Transpark in Kinston, NC. A representative from FEMA attended and gave an update on the current disaster relief efforts taking place in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.
