Kenneth G Ferguson

  • Kenneth Ferguson graduated cum laude from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1971 with a BA in Philosophy and entered the United States Army. ; Ferguson taught for two years at the United States Ordnance Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, as a sergeant specializing in weapons control. ; After leaving the military, Ferguson entered graduate school in Philosophy, earning masters at both Louisiana State Univesity and the University of Rochester. ; In 1985, Ferguson completed his PhD in Philosophy, with a dissertation in counterfactual logic entitled The Conditional Excluded Middle. ; The dissertation received the annual, national writing award for dissertations in Philosophy (1987), with a chapter published in The Review of Metaphysics. ; Ferguson has taught Philosophy at numerous colleges and universities, and is currently an associate professor at East Carolina University, with articles and reviews of logic texts in academic journals such as Metaphilosophy, Erkenntnis, and Hume Studies. ;
