• Dr. Alexis (Alex) G. Hodges, DNP, MSN, FNP-C is a graduate of Beaufort County Community College and East Carolina University. She began her practice as an FNP in 2008 on Hatteras Island and operated a solo FNP practice for over 5 years. She joined the faculty at ECU in July 2017. She is a climate change expert, contritubing nationally with collaborations with Harvard and Americares. Dr. Hodges was selected in 2024 as one of thirteen participants in the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty Leadership Mentorship program for 2024-2025.
