• Jon Kirchoff is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management, Chair of the Marketing and Supply Chain Management Department, and a Research Associate for the Bureau of Business Research in the College of Business at East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina. His primary areas of research include sustainable supply chain management, healthcare supply chains, global supply chain management, and functional integration. He has conducted research on both academic and applied subjects and has published extensively in academic and practitioner journals including Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management. He writes press articles and lectures on current supply chain management topics for various groups across North Carolina, the US and Europe. Prior to academia, Dr. Kirchoff worked for 15 years in purchasing and logistics management positions for several Fortune 500 companies, including Mercedes-Benz U.S. International and EchoStar Technologies.
