Cynthia M. Bellacero is the Director of Academic Planning and Accreditation at East Carolina University. ; Dr. Bellacero ;has worked as a higher education professional for 15 years with experience as a faculty member, department chair, and institutional effectiveness professional. ; She has successfully led both a Decennial Reaffirmation and Fifth-Year Interim Report and serves as an evaluator for SACSCOC. ; Dr. Bellacero has worked as an administrator and faculty member in both the university and community colleges systems in North Carolina and Florida. ; She earned her PhD in Anthropology and certification in Museum Studies from Florida State University, Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology from East Carolina University, Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration from Craven Community College, and additional training in global leadership from Worldview at UNC Chapel Hill.
