Dr. Jeanne-Marie Lawrence is a Senior Teaching Instructor in the Distribution and Logistics program, College of Engineering and Technology, East Carolina University. Prior to employment in academia, she worked in the manufacturing, distribution, and service sectors at both large multinational corporations and smaller companies in the US and overseas. She completed her BS degree with honors at the University of Florida, MBA in Finance at Hofstra University, Master's in Supply Chain Management at Penn State University, and PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Mississippi State University. Her research interests include global supply chain design and resilience; supply chain and logistics education; sustainability; systems thinking; systems engineering; economic evaluation of capital projects; and STEM and diversity initiatives. She is a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP), and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
