Dr. Urton is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the East Carolina University College of Nursing. He is the Concentration Director for the Clinical Nurse Specialist concentrations (MSN), overseeing both the Adult-Gerontology CNS and Neonatal CNS programs. Dr. Urton maintains an active CNS practice as a board-certified clinical nurse specialist. Prior to retiring from the U.S. Navy, Dr. Urton served in a variety of clinical and leadership capacities within military treatment facilities at Armed Forces bases across the United States.
