Chad Jordan

overview

  • Hello. My name is Chad Jordan and I am a teaching instructor at ECU in the Dept. of Criminal Justice. I have 12 years of teaching experience with the last 9 years occurring at ECU. I have also taught Criminal Justice courses at NC Wesleyan College and at Nash Community College. Prior to teaching, I worked as a practitioner and have experience as a police officer, a deputy sheriff, and as an adult probation/parole officer. I was an adult probation/parole officer for a little under 14 years and currently I am still an active, auxiliary deputy sheriff with the Chowan County Sheriff's Office. I was born and raised in Edenton, NC and I am an ECU graduate with a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Criminal Justice. I have a genuine interest for this field and enjoy sharing my knowledge of it to provide students with what they need to move forward in this field of work or research.
