• I am a biological anthropologist who applies robust statistical and computational methods to specific questions in human growth and development, modern human variation, and the application of such techniques in forensic anthropology and bioarchaeology. Recently, I have begun to apply similar statistical techniques to the evolution of modern human growth and development. I emphasize the use of Bayesian and machine learning techniques to characterize the multidimensionality of the human phenotype. My work is inherently collaborative drawing influence from evolutionary biology, computer science and statistics, human ecology, and computational social science.
  In addition to my research portfolio, I am a practicing forensic anthropologist who will be consulting with the Division of Autopsy and Forensic Services at the East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine.
