I was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, where I completed high school. Afterward, I moved to Azerbaijan to pursue a dental degree at Azerbaijan Medical University, graduating in 2000. In 2001, I migrated to the United States, and in 2007, I obtained my dental license in the state of Massachusetts. I then served as the Dental Director at a public health community center for over 17 years.
In 2009, I became the Site Director for the AEGD program at NYU Langone, where I contributed to dental education for more than 15 years.
I met my wife here in the United States, and we have a beautiful daughter. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and listening to music.
